Heinrich's PMC8 can only be used for purposes not related to evacuation/alarm. It is a zone microphone for announcements in selected zones by the user or operator. The microphone has 8 buttons for announcement in 8 zones and can be extended up to 64 buttons by the help of extension Keypad PMC8-Keypad.

The PMC8 has 1 local audio input on board and 1 audio output which works as a headphone output and external audio input. Communication with controller units takes place via an Ethernet LAN port with a redundant port.
